Under 19's: ACR Messina 1 vs Malta 2

A late goal at the Stadio di Toarmina scored 5 minutes from time by Neil Tabone gave the Malta Under 19's national team a 2-1 victory over ACR Messina.    Our lads played well with determination to create quite a number of good chances, missing a few and denied others by the opponents goalkeeper.  Kurt Zammit drew in the beginning of the second half with a well taken dipper.  The goal gave new strength to Wayne Attard’s team which although effecting several changes still created a good number of chances.  Five minutes from time Neil Tabone nipped in the winner after a good collective build up from the midfield.  Yet Messina could have gained an undeserved draw when hitting the crossbar, in injury time.
