In line with the Malta FA regulations, Member Club are required that at least one of the persons listed in the official match-sheet during competitive matches must be a certified first-aid. To help Member Clubs prepare for this obligation, the Association annually organise a number of first aid courses for club nominees free of charge.

Programme Overview

A ten hour course where participants are trained in essential first aid skills that could prove vital when faced with a medical emergency. Through theoretical sessions, discussions, demonstrations, and scenarios, the participants will cover a myriad of topics related to illness and traumatic incidents.

This course is aimed at anyone involved in football aged over 14 who wants to be prepared and trained in what to do when dealing with a casualty in an out-of-hospital setting.

Overall Takeaways

Provide the skills to overcome a potentially threatening situation long enough for medically trained inidivuals to arrive on the scene.
