Valletta F.C. opened up a six point gap at the top of the BOV Premier League Championship Pool when they defeated second placed Hibernians by 3 goals to 2, in an interesting match

The Paolites took the lead with a  goal from Dos Santos Tarabai, but goals from Gilbert Agius, William Barbosa (pen), and Roderick Briffa turned the match in favour of the Citizens.

Clayton Failla, in injury time,  pulled a goal back from the penalty spot, with Valletta keeper Andrew Hogg being sent off soon after.

Valletta now lead with 41 points at the top, while Hibs remain second on 35, with 5 matches remaining
