Malta Women's National Team will be playing against Greece, Albania and Kosovo in Group 2 of their World Cup qualifications. The draw was held earlier today at the UEFA Headquarters, in Nyon.  Mark Gatt's side will be travelling to Albania, and will face all three opponents between April 6 and April 11. The winner of the group will qualify automatically to round two of the qualifications while the best runner-up of the four qualifying groups, will join them as well. Both Greece and Albania are above Malta in the FIFA Women's Rankings, as the Greeks are occupying the 62nd place while Albania are sitting in 72nd. On the other hand, this is the first time for Kosovo after having been acknowledged by both UEFA and FIFA as a member of both football bodies.
