Under 17’s friendly: Wales 5 vs Malta 1

In the second friendly match against the same Welsh National squad at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, Malta suffered almost another identical defeat of two days ago with the difference of a goal in favour, scored by Kieran Xuereb against the five conceded.  After the 5-0 first match defeat, Sergio Soldano’s squad showed some better football. However the Welsh side proved once again to be a much technically better and a physically stronger. Abruzzese, Williams, Davies, Cullen and Roberts scored the goals for Wales. Malta’s starting line up was: 1.    Aquilina (Vella 57), 2.
