MFA C.E.O. Mr. Bjorn Vassallo addressed the MFA Annual General Meeting for the year 2014 and dwelt on the Administrative Report for the past twelve months  Mr. Vassallo began his speech by saying that MFA continued with its work  on the integrity of the game via the agreement with Sports Radar by means of the SAY NO TO MATCH FIXING Campaign. Bjorn Vassallo gave a brief overvue on the amendments carried out on the MFA Statute and regulations as well as the new formats of the competitions in particular the Premier League. And the initiative on carrying our negotiations with local authorities which will in the end earn the local clubs the commercial use of the lands on which they have a title to have their own facitlities and practice the game He went on to inform those present on the activities of the Technical Center which include the administration of the various categories of the national team, the football academy and coach education. With regards to sports facilities the upgrading works on the National Stadium continued and amongst which the most important is the new CCTV System and access to disabled persons. Other important upgrades were carried out to the Victor Tedesco Stadium and the Hibernians Stadium were top matches from the domestic competitions are held. MFA has also submitted an application for the setting up of a solar farm in the vicinities of its facilities. The MFA has also started work on transferring its physiotherapy clinic to the Millennium Stand. The MFA C.E.O. also confirmed that Bank of Valletta have renewed their sponsorship of the national leagues, and other agreements with other commercial partners have also been renewed amongst which the most important are the National Team Platinum Sponsorhip with FXDD and GIVOVA as Technical Sponsors. Finally, Bjorn Vassallo thanked all those who were in some way or other innolved in the organsiation of the UEFA European Under 17 Championship Finals, which were a great success in particular the REACH OUT campaign which managed to attract the fantastic crowd of more than 42,000 people to the stadia where the games were held.
