[a] To promote and develop the Game of Football in the Republic of Malta in any way the M.F.A thinks proper and in conformity with the Statutes, Regulations and Bye-Laws of F.I.F.A. and the Laws of the Game as laid down by the International Football Association Board and such other Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations as the M.F.A. may approve.
[b] To organise, administer, control and exercise discipline over the Game of Football in the Republic of Malta.
[c] To create and ensure uniformity in the conduct matters relating to the advancement of the Game and to carry into effect the Bye-Laws and Regulations that may be enacted from time to time by the Malta Football Association.
[d] To foster friendly relations amongst the officials and players of the M.F.A. by encouraging football matches at all levels and in all appropriate ways.
[e] To prevent all sorts of discrimination in football in competitions, clubs and associations under its jurisdiction.
[f] To prevent the introduction of improper methods or practices in the Game of Football and to protect it from abuse.
[g] To enter into agreement with other parties for the promotion or development of the Game of Football or sports in general in the Republic of Malta.
[h] To invest the monies of the Association in any enterprise, form or company and to borrow monies as it may determine.
[i] To consider and decide on all matters relating to the Game of Football.
To achieve these objectives, this Association shall be recognised by all its members as the only body in the Republic of Malta,
which has the sole right to organise the Game of Football at national level and of having the right of representation, both at
national level and at international level.
